A black jacket by Y'S YOHJI YAMAMOTO, made in Japan in the 1980s judging by the early, brown cotton "Y's" garment label found inside. The jacket is made from a lightweight cotton poplin, an unusual choice for a jacket as poplin is more often used for shirts or as lining. It has a double breasted front opening and broad lapels, with two horisontal welt pockets at the waist. The jacket is cut short, for a cropped effect, and should work nicely either as a summer jacket or layered over warmer garments in winter.
